Keyboard shortcuts
There is one global shortcut and a handful of local ones. Everything else is ordinary browser behavior: Tab moves focus, Enter and Space activate the focused control.
Mac keys are written first. On Windows and Linux, use Ctrl wherever this page says Cmd.
Global
Section titled “Global”| Keys | Does |
|---|---|
| Cmd+K / Ctrl+K | Opens the command palette. Pressing it again closes it |
It works from every page in the app, including while a dialog is open.
In the command palette
Section titled “In the command palette”| Keys | Does |
|---|---|
| Up / Down | Moves the selection through the results |
| Enter | Opens the selected result |
| Esc | Closes the palette |
Esc is caught on the page rather than on the search box, so it closes the palette even after you have clicked a result row and moved the focus.
Writing a message
Section titled “Writing a message”Applies to every message box in the product: the Eva panel on the cockpit, a meeting, and a task conversation.
| Keys | Does |
|---|---|
| Enter | Sends the message |
| Shift+Enter | Starts a new line |
Company profile editing
Section titled “Company profile editing”| Keys | Does |
|---|---|
| Cmd+Enter / Ctrl+Enter | Opens the save or propose dialog for the section you are editing |
It does nothing until the section has unsaved changes and passes validation, which is deliberate: the shortcut cannot submit something the form would reject. Which dialog opens depends on whether you may edit the company profile directly or are proposing a change.
Proposed task drafts
Section titled “Proposed task drafts”| Keys | Does |
|---|---|
| Left / Right | Moves through the draft cards after a meeting |
The cards wrap, so Right from the last card returns to the first. See proposed tasks.
Dialogs and drawers
Section titled “Dialogs and drawers”| Keys | Does |
|---|---|
| Esc | Closes the dialog without saving |
| Enter | Confirms a confirmation dialog |
| Tab / Shift+Tab | Cycles focus inside the dialog rather than escaping behind it |
Next steps
Section titled “Next steps”- Jump anywhere with the command palette: what the palette searches.
- Read the cockpit: the screen Cmd+K opens over.
- Limits: how many results the palette returns.
